Folly Farm
Folly Farm, near Kilgetty, is an absolute delight for kids of all ages – an attraction offering everything from milking and bottle-feeding farm animals, to all the fun of a vintage indoor hiring fair, spectacular displays by birds of prey, karting, lots of great indoor and outdoor play and activity areas, and more besides. There’s plenty to interest adults too, including an exhibition of old farming machinery and equipment, a shop, licensed bar, restaurant and burger bar. This is definitely a family day out not to be missed. Oakwood and CC2000
In peak season the park stays open till 10.00pm, each evening culminating in a spectacular firework display and light show. The Christmas pantomime is also very popular. Next door to Oakwood is CC2000, an all-weather family fun attraction where you can play the Cyberdrome Crystal Maze (based on the popular TV game), ten-pin bowling, the latest video games and high-realism simulators.
Adventure Days with TYF No Limits The inventors of coasteering invite you to join them for the best buzz this side of the moon! TYF No Limits really lives up to its name – a chance to experience all the thrills of daring activities such as kayaking, climbing, abseiling and surfing. And all under the expert supervision of trained, professional guides. What’s more, you don’t have to be a super fit freak to enjoy the fun! Groups, families and individuals alike are welcome, with tailor-made programmes available. Your options include a taster session or a choice of half-day, full-day and multi-day adventures. Aquaphobia Aquaphobia is a modern, purpose-built, environmentally-friendly craft that voyages between St. Justinian’s Lifeboat Station and Ramsey Island, off the north Pembrokeshire coast. The 90-minute round-island trip takes in the spectacular geology and birdlife of Ramsey, which is an RSPB reserve. Added attractions are often provided by Atlantic grey seals, porpoises and dolphins. The boat has a licensed skipper and crew and is safe, comfortable and suitable for all ages, with the further benefit of dry quayside boarding at the lifeboat station. Bowling and
Riding School Complete beginners and more advanced
riders alike are catered for at this exciting quad bike centre, close to
Letterston (between Haverfordwest and Fishguard) in north Pembrokeshire.
The Knox Valley presents many natural obstacles along the scenic course,
which is set within 200 acres of varying terrain. Under the guidance of
experienced instructors, the trail progresses from flat fields to more
testing challenges such as tight corners, bumpy ground, muddy ditches,
water splashes and other thrilling manoeuvres. There are also rides
reserved exclusively for experienced quad bikers. Open 7 days a week, the Centre caters for
all ages and abilities and is the ideal place for the whole family to
experience the joys of horse riding in magnificent scenery. Situated on the
scenic coast road midway between Pendine and Amroth, the Centre has
all-weather indoor facilities and a variety of attractions. These include
private and group lessons with qualified instructors; Own A Pony days;
beach rides for the more experienced; day rides through lanes, forest and
mountain terrain; donkey hire; and livery packages to suit all needs. Rides are supervised by qualified ATV
(all-terrain vehicle) instructors, so even complete novices can join in.
The hour-long off-road course takes you through lovely countryside and a
challenging obstacle course. The exciting junior circuit caters safely for
riders aged 6-15. KT, a luxurious motor cruiser which
carries up to 12 passengers, is standing by to show you the many delights
of the Pembrokeshire coast. Sail from Saundersfoot on a daily or
half-daily basis; enjoy an evening sunset cruise; or explore further
afield to destinations such as Devon, the Scilly Isles and Ireland.
Whatever your choice, KT offers the very best in coastal cruising and is
fully equipped with state-of-the-art electronic navigation and
communication systems and a first-class galley and bar. Home to more than half a million breeding
seabirds, Skomer is a designated National Nature Reserve. By booking your
seat aboard Dale Princess, a 50-seater vessel which sails from Martin’s
Haven near Marloes Sands, you can take the 15-minute trip to Skomer and
stand within feet of comical puffins, guillemots, razorbills, cormorants,
gannets and many other species. Other wildlife sensations aboard Dale
Princess include evening Seabird Spectacular cruises and visits to the
islands of Skokholm and Grassholm, the latter famous for its huge gannet
colony Britain’s foremost wildlife adventure boat specialist for more than 20 years, this St. David’s-based attraction introduces you to a unique combination of high adventure and sensitive appreciation of Pembrokeshire’s wonderful offshore wildlife and scenery. The company, which is accredited by the Wales Tourist Board, has sole landing rights for day visitors to Ramsey Island, an important RSPB Reserve. Other unforgettable experiences include the Two-Hour Spectacular and the Bitches Adventure. Subject to sea conditions, every expedition is usually suitable for all ages and for wheelchair users.

Tenby Fishing. Run by local skippers, John Blair and David 'Diddy' Parker, Tenby Fishing offers two kinds of of expeditions. If you fancy just a short one and a half hour mackerel trip then hop aboard the 'Summertime'. However, if you have more time to relax then a four hour deep-sea fishing trip onboard the 'Dianne' is called for. All tackle is included in the price. Thousand Island Expeditions. Join one of the many Wildlife Adventure Trips to experience the beautiful scenery and wildlife of this unspoilt island wilderness, departing from St Davids in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in Wales. Trips include the Ramsay Island Adventure, guided walks on Ramsay, Thousand Island Adventure, Whale and Dolphin watching, evening Puffin and Shearwater trips and fishing trips.
West Wales
Windsurfing and Sailing Celtic Charter. Celtic Charter is a St Clears Based company that offers expeditions for diving and fishing on their famous catamaran - 'The Celtic Wildcat', which is very fast, and an ideal stable platform for fishing and diving. Experienced skippers, Nick O'Sullivan and Tracy Smith have extensive local knowledge and aim to give you an enjoyable day out, either on, or below the water. Celtic Diving. Discover the Pembrokeshire National Coastal Park both on and under the water! Sailing and Diving in a unique and beautiful environment. West Wales Divers. West Wales Diving Centre offers a fully comprehensive dive service catering to individual divers or large groups. Situated in the heart of Pembrokeshire, (Britain's only Coastal National Park), between the villages of Little Haven and Dale, they are ideally placed for visiting divers wishing to dive to the North, South or West of the Dale Peninsula. Regardless of the weather, there is always somewhere close to enter the water and for visiting clubs, there are launch points on both sides of the peninsula. Pembrokeshire Anglers. The Pembrokeshire Anglers Association is a long established association that owns and leases approximately 15 miles of prime fishing on the western Cleddau River and its tributaries. The PAA's water stretch from the fast flowing upper reaches to the tidal areas above Haverfordwest. The main river, renowned for its excellent run of migratory fish, offers the visiting and local angler a vast choice of conditions and productive pools in some truly unspoilt natural surroundings. Indeed, the whole Cleddau catchment area has been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and is host to a wide variety of wildlife, including otters, Kingfishers, herons, ducks and dragonflies. Sabre Tooth II. Sabre Toth Charters aim to provide a complete angling service. Recognising that different anglers have differing requirements, they will attempt to put together a package tailored for each individual, whether a day trip or a full-blown week's holiday. They offer day or night trips, corporate entertainment, tackle hire, tackle sales, on board catering and more! Yet-Y-Gors Fishery. Quality Coarse and Trout Fishing set in Manorowen, Fishguard. Offering a basic tackle shop and tackle hire, refreshments, family fun, a trout pool (away from the main lakes), tuition and easy access to all lakes. Pete and Jayne Mclean welcome you to beautiful Yet-Y-Gors, offering you the chance to fish two mixed coarse lakes with Carp to 25lbs; Trout lake (fly only) with Blues, Rainbows and Browns. Average stock size over 2lbs plus double figure fish and a separate catch and release fly only lake. Pembrokeshire Watersports. Pembrokeshire Watersports is a Pembrokeshire County Council, non-profit making project committed to delivering high quality watersports training and related activities, providing watersports and sea safety training to Schools, Colleges and Universities, helping to develop a marine leisure industry and watersports related tourism in Pembrokeshire. From Novice to Advanced they can meet your sailing requirements, with three centres ideally suited to all-weather sailing. The sheltered bay at Fishguard with its access to the open sea or the waterways of the Cleddau Estuary with its variety of conditions and challenges. Younger sailors have the opportunity to sail below the historic Pembroke Castle in the Castle Moat. Newsurf. Newsurf, based in Newgale, is a family run business set in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Newgale provides the ideal location for watersports; there is always plenty of space on the long, two-mile stretch of flat sand and whilst the Atlantic Ocean rollers ensure exciting surf, it is a safe beach for the young and not so expert. The beach has been awarded a European blue Flag, guaranteeing the cleanliness of the water. Newgale is easy to find, midway between Haverfordwest and St Davids, on the main A487 road. There is a cafe at both ends of the beach and The Duke Of Edinburgh Inn is next to Newsurf on the sea front. Newsurf can provide a wide selection of all surf equipment and accessories for hire to accompany an instruction course. Surf instruction is is provided, with courses available all year round and daily classes during the school holidays. The courses are suitable for complete novices but improver courses are also available. Each course is usually half a day and includes a wetsuit and board. Kitesurfing courses are provided by Big Blue Kitesurfing at Newsurf for this exciting sport, and the course covers the handling of the kite up to the actual kitesurfing experience.
